The Guarantee

1. BSA Marketing guarantee to show measurable improvement in the search engine rankings for your website, amongst the leading search engines, within 6 months of starting SEO work with you.

2. If we fail to show measurable improvement, we will refund all SEO fees you have paid to date.

Measuring Search Engine Ranking

1. Search Engine Ranking is measured using a Search Engine Visibility Index. This index measures the visibility of your website, against specific keywords/keyphrases, for UK searches on the following search engines: Google UK (www.google.co.uk) Yahoo UK and Ireland (www.yahoo.co.uk) MSN UK (www.msn.co.uk) BBCi (www.bbc.co.uk)

2. Search engine visibility is calculated as follows:

-- 2.1. We calculate a visibility score. The visibility score is achieved by assigning a point value to the highest position achieved by the site on each engine. A point value is only awarded to the positions 1 through 30, with a position of 1 being awarded 30 points, position 2 is worth 29 points, 3 is 28 points and so on through 30 which is given 1 point. The points are then summed for all 4 engines. This total is the visibility Score.

-- 2.2. The Visibility Index is (Your site’s visibility score/Maximum possible score) x 100 (to give a percentage). The maximum possible ranking on the target search engines is No 1 position on each search engine giving a maximum possible score of 120 (30+30+30+30)

Example 1: Your site appears in No. 1 position on all 4 target search engines. Each No.1 position scores 30 points giving a visibility score of 30+30+30+30=120. The Visibility Index is (120/120) x 100 = 100%

Example 2: Your site appears in No. 28 position on 1 search engine, No.23 position on another and not in the top 30 on the remaining 2 search engines. The No.28 position scores 3 points, the No.23 position scores 8 points giving a visibility score of 3+8=11. The Visibility Index is (11/120) x 100 = 9%

3. The current visibility index for your site is calculated each month and included in your monthly report. If, during the first 6 months of our SEO work with you, the visibility index does not increase above the score stated in the initial report, our search engine optimisation fees will be refunded at your request.

4. BSA Marketing reserve the right to cancel the contract at any time.

5. The money back guarantee is only valid if all recommendations detailed in the site optimisation report are implemented fully. Unless otherwise agreed, the client will be responsible for the implementation of the optimisation recommendations, and must inform BSA marketing as soon as the implementation is complete in order to allow appropriate submission of the site to relevant engines.

6. If BSA Marketing is not informed that recommendations detailed in the site optimisation report are implemented fully within 4 weeks from the submission of the report, the money back guarantee will not apply

7. Money back guarantee applies only to search engine optimisation fees, and does not include any fees payable for other services supplied by BSA Marketing in connection with the optimisation project. Including but not limited to, website design/maintenance, Pay per click management and pay per click advertising costs.

8. Before accepting any client, BSA Marketing reserve the right to withhold this guarantee. In cases where we do not feel we can offer the guarantee, we will inform prospective client of this decision, and give them the opportunity to either not proceed, or to proceed with no guarantees.
